Three short tasks: a scenario to judge, six colour patches to name, and one prediction. It takes about four minutes. There are no right answers to the first and last — this is a study of what people assume about other people’s experience.
You have been assigned at random to one of two versions of the opening scenario, and will see only that one. Your answers are recorded anonymously — no name, no login, nothing that identifies you. Afterwards you will see both versions and what the 2021 study actually found.
Part of this uses colour on screen. Screens are not colour-calibrated and rooms are not evenly lit, so treat the patches as rough. You do not need normal colour vision to take part — there is a question about that at the end.
